Thread OP
Hello I am hoping someone can help us. We recently JUST planted this Beauty of Moscow Lilac, literally 3 days ago. We live in Chicago so the plant is good in our zone. We had some sun and we watered it since we planted. Today I noticed these black spots!!! Is this blight, or something else??! Does anyone know what to do from here to save this new bush?

Looks like some kind of insect damage. See if you can find any small bugs on it and photograph them. Maybe then we can get an ID. Look at dusk and check under the leaves. That's when most bugs are most active and where they like to hang out.
