I would start them under lights and then when they are about 4 inches tall, move them out on the balcony to get better lighting. They are worth the time and effort! Happy Gardening.

I grew it in the Pacific NW and be aware it is a really robust plant - mine got very tall and wide. I assume you can keep it trimmed back if need be.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

I want to harvest the blooms at a certain point of time(for culinary stuff)....but yeah, i would probably need to prune it...
