I just had to share this gorgeous anthurium hybrid. It's being called voodoo child. A cross between regale x dressleri. The leaves emerge a gorgeous blood red.

Then harden off to a deep green that's almost black. Oh and don't forget the contrasting veins.

I have never seen this plant in person and probably never will. It's crazy expensive but still nice to administer😊

Yeah but....the red stage that doesn;t last...it would be just as nice to buy a cheaper version of a velvet leaved anthurium that looked like that. Now if the red stage was the FINAL stage........well, that might be a different story LOL

I agree. The red crystalarium is another one that is gorgeous. But the gorgeous red leaves turn after they harden off.

I came across a hybrid of Veitchii x chamberlainii the other day. That was also a nice looking hybrid. Not only because it had flashy colored leaves. This one has fantastic texture.

I have a red crystallinum hybrid and it it pretty fab. I think one of my fave hybrids is crystallinum x magnificum. The leaves can get HUGE and the veining can be sensational

Your lucky😉 the red crysrlallinum is nice just pricey.

The crystallinum x magnificum is a good looking hybrid. I may have to go on the hunt for that one. It's probably very expensive seeing how Magnificum has become very pricey over the last few months.

Here is a photo of that Veitchii x chamberlainii

My red crystallinum may not be the same hybrid being sold as the 'Choco' Red. It was a gift from someone, who was unsure of the heritage but believes it is crystallinum x dressleri
