We germinated a plum seed. It sprouted and when about 9 inches tall snipped off top. It sent out a new branch (I call it a branch, not sure what is the proper term) and then it grew in a V shape. When both branches reached about 8 inches long one of them stopped growing, so it continued to grow with one branch stopped and the other getting longer and longer. I snipped off the end of the one that stopped to see if it would send out a new shoot but no luck. How do we get it growing again. See photo
Thanks

Its time to prune the big limb to where its equal with the other limb. Your plant has stopped growing so you have nothing to lose. When you prune make your cut right above a node so the new stem growth can emerge from the crouch. Water after pruning so it can scab over and the wound will heal well. Turn you plant a few times a week, to get even growth all around the plant, and won't become one-sided again.
NOT A EXPERT! Just a grow worm! I never met a plant I didn’t love.✌
