What plants are best for improving indoor air quality?

We'd be happy to suggest plants that should do well for you, if you describe your situation (light mostly)

I hope this doesn't dissappoint you greatly but no plant is actually great at improving indoor air quailty. We get this question regularly. The effect that a plant has on air is so tiny, you would literally have to cram your house with thriving plants (and the artifical light and water they would need to thrive) to have any effect.
