I have lost the tag on this plant. It must be a perennial because it came back this year. Would love to have it's name again. The blooms aren't open yet, but should be soon. Thanks for any help!

Have you lit a match near it yet...

Oh thank you so much, John and Mike! I do believe that is it, even though I don't recall actually buying a gas plant. I will have to light a match near one of the blooms when they open. That ought to be a treat, but do I dare let my husband know this? He would have the whole thing demolished playing with that, lol.

Have your husband buy his own toy.

It'll have to have custom detailing, dual overhead cams, and run on 97 octane, though...

You are spot on John! He needs to play with a different kind of gas. Rolling on the floor laughing

As a matter of fact, he will be getting later today an old truck (I assume a 70's 80's model) from a neighbor. The lady's father passed away a few months ago and when my husband saw the truck he offered to clean it up in exchange for a case of beer. He may end up buying it, but that is yet to be seen.

I guess I need to close this thread soon since my plant has been identified. I need to make a stake for it so I don't forget the name again Smiling
