Cool days with cold nights will cause purpling on your peppers. The uptake of phosphorus will slow down during cooler temps. You have nothing to worry about because when it gets hot you will see the purpling disappear. Happy Gardening.

I don't see purpling, I see black. On one of the pics I saw what appeared to be mold. They also appear to be pale. Are they inside or outside? I would recommend more light, but as for any other treatment, wait until you hear from someone else on this issue.

I do see what looks like fuzz in a couple photos but, maybe we are just looking too close. I would be more concerned by the paleness of the new growth. Have you fertilized? What are they planted in? How much sun are they getting?

Purple/black stems are normal for some peppers, especially darker colored ones. Phosphorous deficiency caused by cold makes the leaves purple too, not just the stems.

They do look great! I think you're right on track. One of my pepper plants outside has some slight purple color on it.

My garden is way behind yours. My tomatoes and peppers are about 5 inches tall and my cucumbers and squash are still cotyledons. They spent last night under buckets as we were expecting snow. Smiling
