My tomato and cucumber leaves started turning yellow. I fertilized a week ago and the tomatoes and the Persian cukes look better but my Japanese cukes still don't look so hot. Any tips?

Did you have a recently unseasonably cold night?

The soil should be at 70 for good outcome. Even one night below 50 air temp can damage cukes. Turn the leaves over to look for pests, but im pretty sure this is temp damage

I think we've stayed above 50. We did have a few days that reached 100 last week.

Heat can cause temperature damage too, especially if you water so they're damp when bright sun hits.
Did you turn the leaves over to look for bugs?

I think it's temp. I would cut off any stems with damage back to healthy growth. You dont want your plants roots to have to try and shunt water and nutrients along long damaged pathways... Its a waste of energy.

If you only have healthy growth at the tip, be careful about staking naked vines so the don't dry out and crimp on hot summer days, shutting down the transport from roots to fruit
