My mom has 3 anthurium plants that aren't doing so well.

They are in in what seems to be black earth and are in indirect sunlight near a window.

Any advice on how to help these guys is welcome.

Thank you!

You could fit all five of those plants (because you have 5 separate plants) into just ONE of those pots. The mix is way too heavy and peaty and is contributing to waterlogged roots.

My suggestion would be to make all of them out and trim off any dead roots, and repot into a single pot. Make sure it has a lot of drainage. The mix should be looser, amended with lots of perlite and organics like chopped coconut husk, crushed lava rock, and orchid bark.

Many anthuriums ate epiphytic, and even those that qualify as terrestrial (like your A. andreanums) like a more epiphytic-friendly soil mix

Thank you so much for the advice. I don't have any of those soils at the moment- Can I use cactus soil by any chance?

Just make your bagged potting soil lighter. Perlite, hard nutshells...I don;t know a lot about cactus mix. Stay away from things that compact: sand, peat.
