No it really doesn't have much of a scent. But it's so pretty.

Some time in the spring. Not sure exactly when. It WILL take over here if I don't keep it in check. But it's so pretty I kinda let it go and then just mow it down after it blooms.

Gorgeous Ginger! I may have to get some cuttings or seed from you as I don't have any on our property.

Wait until our house is built & then I can make sure anything I plant or grow gets proper care & doesn't croak on me. But I will want some then please.

DH & I don't know when we will feel comfortable traveling. We both (yeah) have celiac disease which means we have to eat gluten free & our bodies haven't healed enough yet to take an accidental glutening so we aren't taking any chances. We eat at home & it requires a lot of cooking.

Hey, if you have to have a health problem this one's not so bad. You don't have to take any meds for it & as long as you remain gluten free then your villi & your body will heal itself. Not bad I say, not bad at all. There's just a very steep learning curve to eating gf & not getting cross contaminated. And there's no way in heck I would trust a restaurant to keep from contaminating our food. They just don't know the rules.
