The leaves are getting bubbly wrinkles and grayish spots on and around edges of leaves and seem dry....wondering if this is sunburnt leaves since I live in zone 10a...?

Its hard to say at this time. If you think maybe sunburn, then reduce the amount time under the sun, for about two weeks, and then slowly work it back the same place and see if any changes occur.
