I am transferring a mature, raised vegetable garden bed to a new location, and I want to transfer the good soil in it. But there are invasive vine roots in the soil, too. If I accidentally get small pieces of the vine roots in the soil I am transferring, will they survive and invade the new bed? Or will they die since they got chopped of from the main roots? Thank you for your knowledge.

uh...
What kind of vine?

Many vines will resprout from broken pieces of root whether the vines are invasive or not.

It is actually a time tested way of propagation...

some things grow from stem cuttings, other things from root cuttings.
