These are from seed from a squash I cooked. They were healthy and happy in their little pots until I transplanted them 2 weeks ago. The first image has whitish leaves...all the leafs are discolored and wrinkly. They have a white ting to them but it doesn't look like PM. 1 plant per hill 3 feet apart. In direct sunlight 7 hours a day. The 2nd image is one hill with 2 plants in partial shade for 2 hours and direct sun for 5 hours. Any ideas? Mahalo!

It looks like powdery mildew. I think that it can be treated with a fungicide but it is not a usual squash problem for me to have.

(This answer at least will send it back up to the top of the list and someone with more powdery mildew experience can add in...)

Mahalo for your response. Yes that's what I thought but it's not like the normal PM I've seen. I tried treating it with an organic fungicide and we will see over the week how it goes.
