I've started gardening and I need advice on how to stop weeds growing in my vegetable garden.

Get you some gloves, and some knee pads, and get to pulling them out. Don't let them go to seed or you will have thousands of new plants sprouting. Now where you have open areas you can use 2 inches of mulch to block new sprouts. Garden work is fun.
NOT A EXPERT! Just a grow worm! I never met a plant I didn’t love.✌

Maybe google "Ruth Stout"?

What kind of gardening are you doing?
Some people go for raised beds, and then just mow between the beds...

Mulch and happy plants... usually results in a limited amount of uninvited guests.
