Some of my basil sprouts has started to bend and form like little " bowls" in their seed leaves. They are starting to bend upwards. They also seem to have darkened in the little pocket. What causes this?

The sprouts are still very small. It does not show very clearly on the camera. But if you look at the middle one in both pictures one of the leaves has started to bend upwards instead. That's pretty visible in the first picture if you look closely at the right leaf of the sprout in the middle, where a bowl shape has started to form. Shrug!

Nothing wrong. You need to give them some time.

Big Bill is right your basil is OK , just grabbing some sun or light. When they cup up like that, they are showing you they are happy and its a good thing, your plants look super. Don't worry.
