Thread OP
I have been trying to grow watermelon from seeds at home on my windowsill using ou organic products for about 2 1/2 months now.
They have grown about 8 inches tall but the leaves are scarce. Other plants I've seen grown by others seem to be quite large and bushy.
This morning I've noticed one flower (I believe is a male), a few more look like they're starting to grow too.
I want to know would the small size of the plant affect the fruit production? Should I transfer them to the garden? Any tips would help if I'm doing anything wrong.

I have attached 3 photos.

Welcome! I would say first of all: put this outside! Watermelons are outside vegetables, and it will never reach its potential growing on a windowsill, much less bear fruit. You're from Alabama, right? Watermelons are grown there outside, in the ground. The vines get quite long, and are not suited to pot growing.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
