I picked the sucker off of one my tomatoes bushes I put it in water and put it in a sunny window.
Should I add anything to the water?

It probably will root just stuck in the ground where you want another tomato.

Should I wait for it to have roots to put it back in some dirt?
How many bush type tomatoes can a patio picker from lowes hold?
