Hello everyone and Happy Thursday!

My partner and I got overexcited and bought tons of herb plants for our garden a couple of years back, but being slightly noobish gardeners promptly forgot the name for one of our herbs, which is now being eaten by greedy aphids. I always assumed it to be oregano but a friend of mine suggested that was out of the question...

Any ideas (the sad dead flower photo might help!)? Upon tasting it's somewhat basily, somewhat minty, somewhat peppery, so even flavourwise I'm a bit at a loss.

Many thanks for all your help!
