I found squishy grey things on top of the soil and found some within the soil but didn't wanna go digging and disturb the plant. They look like little pebbles but are almost sacks of some kind. I took one out and have been inspecting it, afraid it's an egg sac for a bug. I've scoured the internet trying to find out what these are but I've had no success.

Probably a slow release fertilizer. No cause for concern Thumbs up

They are called prills and they hold fertilizer and release when they are wetted or in hotter temps.
