Both of these weed emerge early and bloom out before the basic grasses (Bahia and Bermuda) get going. Most prevalent in a dry spring. seems to be a bumper crop this year. They seem to like the same conditions and share the same patches in the lawn.
Thumb of 2020-05-21/farmerdill/353790 This plant grows taller (5-6 inches)

Thumb of 2020-05-21/farmerdill/d785d9 This more of a low growing sprawler. The next photo is of a group blooming

the first is a usable herb... commonly known as rabbit tobacco... there are so many similar plants that winnowing down to exact taxonomic plant would take time.
likely you have several different ones, same as I do.

bottom plant is different, I'm not finding it with google, and have run out of time this morning... only specific thing I can say about it... a gopher tortoise was browsing both at my house a few days ago...

neither one bothers me enough to do more than thin from the vegetable patch... and... the rabbit tobacco is a host plant for the american lady butterfly.

Thanks. waiting on the second one. their similarities make me think they are kinfolk. There seems to be several plants commonly called rabbit tobacco. No 1 appears to be Sweet Everlasting (Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium)

Check it out!

The bottom plant... I've run across it's name... but it is still eluding my attempts to name it...

Apparently the tortoise considers it edible too.

Yeah, but... I've also seen them browse squash plants and cnidoscolus stimulosus!
I'm not following those guys around to identify edibles...

Here's a neat discussion about trampweed!
