Hi there, a new date palm seedling has finally come out after many months of germination. I killed the previous one perhaps by overwatering it. I don't want this to die. How often would you suggest I water it? And how? Spraying with a fine water mist, letting a few drops of water fall over the seedling, or completely soaking the soil? And when should I water, while it's in the sun or at night?

Thank you everyone so much!!

Yes, water it (the compost looks very dry) until water comes out the bottom. It doesn't matter what time of day you water. Water again when the compost is dry.
