Looking through photos, I thought it might be fun to post some multiple or clump shots, I know I love looking at everyone's pictures of multiples, the more the merrier.

No blooms here yet, but wow on Redneck Riviera, they look like such high blooms and eye catching, as you said! Lillian's Vapor Trail has scapes, and Vanishing Mist, so I should see blooms before too long. And just saw scapes today on Two Sues. my plants are not as big as yours so won't be quite the lookers, but I am looking forward to seeing them. Two Sue's was new last year, and got run over this spring, so I am glad to see any scaped on it. Your clump is gorgeous!

Nancy, thanks for the comments, and I hope your Two Sues will recover--it's definitely a winner here--and speaking of that, here is today's pic of Two Sues--wow, if my count is correct, there are seventeen flowers open--I always wish I had a ladder so I could climb up and take the picture from above.

How long did it take for Two Sues to get to that size? Love the Lillians too! Curious, do you have a preference to L. Vapor Trails, or L. Thin Ice? I like Lillian's Vapor Trails so much, I can't see the need for Thin Ice, but have heard a couple people who preferred L. Thin Ice. Just wondering if I need to see for myself Whistling

Wow is right! Those are awesome clumps and blooms. My favorites are LVT, Artistic Web, and Two Sues. My daylily blooming season is a month away, but I will look through my pics to see if I have any nice ones from last year.

Nancy, Two Sues arrived here in fall of 2016, and it even put up a couple of scapes within a short time--impressive. As to L. Thin Ice and L. Vapor Trail, that is strictly a matter of personal preference. I love both of them, L.Thin Ice was sent as a bonus from Bonnie Nichols of Oak Hill Daylilies, one of the best bonuses I have ever received. L. Vapor Trail had an unhappy start, a very poor plant sent by a well-known LA seller, major shock to me. However, it did recover pretty quickly, happy to say, and now it is a great favorite. I think they are two of the best grown here.
Your clump shots are all looking fine, glad to see them.

Thanks for the kind comments, everybody, and I hope to see more pics posted from other forum members.

Shirlee, the purple daylily that sneaked into the photo of L. Thin Ice is Navajo Pony. The full shot is on the May blooms thread, but here it is again.

Just a couple more, as our weather continues on its rainy way. We could have rain every day for the next week, and flash flood watches have been issued now. I know the daylilies would be better with more sun, but Mother Nature is not cooperating.

Fabulous clumps, Avedon! My favorites are two that I have: Two Sues and Lillian's Thin Ice. I am forever grateful to you for Lillian's Thin Ice. I've grown Lillian's Vapor Trail, but the plant I got was a weak one and the blooms have never impressed me like Thin Ice. I'm one who prefers UFs with petals that curl and cascade. Does Vanishing Mist frequently splotch for you? I've thought of adding that one, but in an area with heavy dew I steer clear of the splotchers. Westbourne Good Old Days looks grand. I grow that one too, but it will be a few days before I have any clumps in my garden. I only have two daylilies open so far. Thanks for starting this thread! I love clump shots.

Wow, Larry, absolutely fantastic clumps. I was pretty slow a few minutes ago looking at all the polys on the one daylily and then I realized why the name is Chief Four Fingers D'Oh! I love all the different forms and pretty colors, really brightens a gloomy day like today.

Debra, I am like you, I lean more to the "fatter" UFS so I probably am more partial to L. Thin Ice, and after all, it is my avatar. As to Vanishing Mist, this is the beginning of its second season here, and the first blooms have all been blotchy. Perhaps it is because in 2019 and this year, it's been very rainy and this one is planted in a shady area, which probably doesn't help. My plan is to move it this fall into a sunnier spot and sees what happens. It is a beautiful daylily and I want to give it a chance to really come into its own.

Wow, nice clumps shots.! No clumps in bloom yet but lots of scapes showing up. I think the rains may have the bloom time pushed up a bit for my area.

I was wondering about white UFs. I grow Isabelle Rose, Snowboarding, Polar Bear Express, Vanilla Gorilla, H Angel Ice and recently traded for Scandinavia. Should I add L. Thin Ice ??

I definitely think you should add Lillian's Thin Ice. It's one of my Top Ten daylilies. If I ever move, it would definitely go in my suitcase. I would love to see you cross it with Isabelle Rose or Snowboarding.
