Hi plant experts! We have had this lily for 20 years and are admittedly not good at caring for it... We are not exactly green thumbs. The leaves are often wilted and brown and this is what the lower parts look like. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! My family is trying to throw it away but I really want to save it any way I can!

Brown leaf tips usually are caused by the soil occasionally getting too dry, typically a week or so after the leaves wilt.

The photo is not great but the green color looks pale. Is your Peace lily getting direct sunlight?

A photo that shows the entire plant would be helpful.

It looks fine. Ideally, it should be watered just before the leaves start to wilt. Some brown leaf tips are inevitable, especially on older leaves. Give it some standard fertilizer at half strength once per month.

I don't know what to do about your family! Shrug!
