In early 2015, after another spinal fusion, my visiting nurse brought me a "Florida" peach tree from her husband's company. The tree was about 2 feet tall when planted. Today, the tree is well over 20 feet, even though we lost a significant part of the tree in a hurricane a couple of years ago. The attached photo shows my "Florida" peach tree loaded with peaches. They don't get very big but they taste as if someone injected each one with sugar water. We give a lot of the peaches away but my wife always makes some type of peach preserve; this year it is peach jam and, oh my it is good! I hope you enjoy the photo!
