Something odd appeared in my raised bed vegetable garden today. It seems to be adversely affecting my bean plant. It's peach colored and looks like lots of large rough-textured paint splotches, but it's not flat, it's 3-dimensional. When I touched it, the outer part fell off revealing a yellow interior. Does anyone have any ideas about what it is?

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
