Actually, it's not doing that bad. Once the bloom has faded, the leaves aren't around for all that long. It looks like the flowers were not pollinated as the are no signs of seed formation. I would put it in a sunny location and keep it watered Once the leaves haven died back, stop watering. Better still, plant it outside in a sunny location and let nature take it's course. With luck, it will come back next spring and bloom. Understand that the flowers that you see in stores for Easter, Mothers day, etc. are usually forced to bloom out of their normal cycle.
