Captured this white flowering weed/wildflower down at our getaway cabin in Gause, TX in March while quarantining down there. It only bloomed for one day and the plant died off within two days of this photo! So I'm glad I had the camera on me the day I was walking down this fence line. The plant is about 1½-2' tall and reminds me of bull thistles (the very dark green ones that can bolt up tall). Thorns of this plant look a bit more tame than bull thistle thorns, I might add, and leaves are softer and brighter green, for sure. Anyway, I thought it quite pretty and is the only one I have ever seen down there, so it must not self-seed readily (yet, anyway). Any help with ID is much appreciated. Thank You!
