I have a very small cactus that is super special to me. It is roughly 20 years old and has been in the same container all these years. The pot was made by my son in the 5th grade and we planted this cactus in it at that time. My son passed when he was 13 and I have had it all these years. It has survived but has gone through many changes and now is having a a growth spurt which I think is not a good thing. I need help to figure out what type of cactus it is and how to care for it so that I can keep it in this container and healthy. I'd also like to 'start' two new ones from it as other family members would like to have some of it. I realize that this may seem a little over the top to some but this cactus has a very special place in my heart and represents a 'living link' to my sone- If anyone can help I would be so appreciative- Thank you so much, be well- Kathie
