How in the heck do I prune these scraggly boxwood? I have watched a ton of videos online, but all of the boxwood pruning instructions show a much fuller boxwood...
It's like these aren't even the same plant! The branches are so long and scraggly, even if I prune the branches... They aren't going to look nice and shapely. What to do to make them not look unkempt??

The plant in the front left of the image is a good example of what I am dealing with here...

Just prune the tips on the ends of the boxwood. That will encourage the shrubs to grow inner branches outward. Maybe a inch or less the first year and as the plant matures you can prune it harder with the clippers.
