I just bought a Juliet cherry tree 2 weeks ago, then 4 days ago some leaves turned yellow and they fell out the tree. The leaves are facing down now and every day is worse. Need help please. It's my first work in gardening Sad
Do I need to buy something for my tree? Does he have a disease?
I live in Zone 6

It looks like its not getting enough water. Let a slow drip hose run under for a couple hours. The soil needs to be moist below the root ball.

Has it been windy and hot? Did you add dirt over the top of the root ball? It looks like there is mud on the trunk.

Dig down beside the tree and see how far the water goes and gauge the wetness/dryness of the soil. The tree needs to be damp, not wet and not dry. Hopefully, you didn't plant the tree in a wet spot - cherries do not like wet soil.

Thank you Daisyl, I will try to buy a tensometer to measure the dryness/wetness of the soil, but It was raining a lot these weeks and I add more water so I might stop watering for a little bit.

Hopefully, you mean a moisture meter, but don't bother. First, they are very unreliable and second, plants in the ground have a lot deeper root system then a moisture meter probe could reach.
