I saw this bug crawling in the grass in my yard yesterday. He has legs under the front part of its body but not on the back part that seems to have sections. It appeared to have wings but was not attempting to fly. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Lightning bug. Good slug predator. They fly now.

I think I know what a lightening bug looks like and this one is very long and brown in color. But there could be different looking lightening bugs than I am aware of.
Thanks for your suggestion.
