What type of mint is this? Can I eat?

My backyard grow a lot of mint. Can any expert tell me what type of mint is this? Smells good and stem is purple color. Leaf has sawtooth. I heard some types of mint can not be used for eating. I want to make sure before use it.

Looks like Mentha spicata var crispa, a spear mint type. yes they are edible.
