I planted these herbs from seed on May 2nd. There was a fast and strong sprout where I planted peppermint seeds but it does not seem to be peppermint. Can anyone help identify? Thinking of taking it out in case it's harmful to the other plants.

Can you detect a fragrance or an odor when you rub the leaves?

Hmm... most herbs do have an odor even when small.

Other than the roots causing competition for moisture and nutrients, I don't believe it would hurt your other plants if you want to let it grow to see what develops.
