Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday over the weekend. 😊 Just wanted to share my pics of this rose. Mine is a standard I got from my local nursery 4 years ago. Had I known she'd get big (4.5' x 4) I'd have given her more room and for me to be able to walk around her. She thrives in heat and loves the sun. Gets powdery mildew in cooler temps. Other than that problem she's very vigorous and hardy in my garden. I have to do quite a bit of pruning so she doesn't get too 'wild'. Really like this one.

Beautiful! I think weeping roses make the best standards.

Tisha and Seil... thanks for commenting. I forgot to mention she appreciates a good haircut and doesn't have much thorns. Good day! - J

You used to see China Doll (not the weeping one) around here a lot. I realize, now, I haven't seen one in years. That's too bad!

Hi Jeri! I didn't even know it existed until I saw 4 'The Fairy' standards In front of an Armstrong. Inquired about it and the gal told me I should look into the one I have now. Took me a longggg while to be able to get one! So she's quite special. Smiling
It is too bad that we don't see them around any more.
