Thread OP
we have a large Colorado Blue Spruce planted too close to our home. It is approximately to the third story of our home. Our concern is the roots. Will they do harm to our foundation? We do have a basement and the trunk is 3-4ft from our home. Thank you!

The roots won't cause damage to the foundation but, I am wondering what it will do to the house. Blue Spruce get 20 ft wide or more.

what do you mean....the branches? We have clipped back branches in a few spots and it now that it is as big as it is, it does not have that triangle shape from the back side.

5 year old picture, so the tree is reaching the top floor now!
