I am a beginner gardener saving food scraps for composting in a bucket. Should I be refidgerating them until I get enough or can I keep them in a bucket for a few weeks at a time or longer until I get the correct ratio I need for my tumbler? Thanks.

| And be sure to add some dry material, too, such as leaves or shredded newspaper.
