In never flowers or anything like that. No smell, leaves are hard but movable, not liquid filled. The leaves/blades are firm, slightly serrated, would almost cut your hand if you held on hard and pulled. Extensive root system, but lives with minimal water. Looks like it would be at home in a desert.
