Hi!

I bought this plant at Anawalt thinking it was a baby plant Monstera but I am not so sure anymore. Its new leaves are split when they open up and my understanding isthat Monstera leaves get the splits as they mature. Also the leaves are much smaller and they are all growing close to one single trunk, which makes me think it must be something else. I still think its cute but would love to solve the mystery.

Any ideas?

Thank you do much for the help Smiling

It looks very much like Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, the plant often called Monstera minima or 'mini-monstera'.

I agree, that looks like Mini Monstera (Rhaphidophora tetrasperma) I had one years ago that was labeled "Mini Monstera" and the leaves do indeed look like Monstera but don't grow as large.

I just highlight the link at the top of the database page for the photo and then "copy" it and come back and paste it to my post.
