Thread OP

Hi guys, I'm completely new to this and started growing my mango seed for a bit of fun.

I was impressed with the progress I had but all of a sudden one of the leaves are going brown/black and curling. Could someone please shed some light as to why this is happening? And also should I cover the rest of the seed in soil? Is having the seed exposed like this an issue?
