Hello everyone!
I have this plant (I'm not sure of its name) and it's changed texture and color. It's gone from bright green, as you can see from one picture, to grayish. Also the leaves have flattened.

The pot is close to the stove, could that be an issue?

Tip it out of the pot and get a good look and feel at the soil. Be very gentle and make sure you hold your hand over the soil to keep it from breaking apart. Now, Is it sopping wet or bone dry is what you need to find out.

I thought it needed a little water and just added some. Is there anything else I should.consider?
