This Colocasia (I think?) dropped all its leaves due to spider mites but seems to be recovering.

However, now I'm scared that the leaf pattern may be mosaic virus - is it?

Looks like a good possibility but don't give up yet, let the plant decline more to be sure. There are no cures for viral diseases such as mosaic once a plant is infected. As a result, every effort should be made to prevent the disease from entering your garden.

Get that plant away from your others asap. It does look like mosaic. I had it on some Colocasia imperialis, I had to destroy them. That patterning is pretty classic
