I would like to grow this climber on my stucco chimney...i was planning to use eye mortar screws, and tie guide wires to them...will this work?

I am in Zone 7

Its It's best to keep it away from the wall. As to let air circulate behind it. To help against blackspot and powdery mildew. If it was me I'd build a standoff trellis to keep it off the wall. You can do what you said. But you may have problems with diseases. Just my opinion. Lack of air flow will cause problems.
