Came from my daughter's garden to me. Thought it might be an Aruncus Dioicus but the leaves are somewhat different and it is not woody like mine. Type of Filipendula maybe? Or perhaps a young shrub of some variety? It was very easy to dig. Thanks for looking. Smiling

An Astilbe?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost

Thank you but your suggestion but I think it unlikely; it came from a garden where more hardy and regular perennials were grown. Smiling

Possibly but the foliage is certainly different from any astilbe's I have. I may have to wait for a bloom to positively id it. Thank You!
