Edit: this seems to have stumped the community! After further investigating, Im sure that it's American Bittersweet. The new leafs curl like a scroll at the edges and oriental bittersweet has rounder leaves.

This appears to be a vine ... The largest tendril is reaching for the deck while smaller tendrils are branching out at the bottom. Each leave has its own stem. This is the only specimen in our landscape. Id like to know what it is before I touch it. Thanks so much!! This forum has been on the money with each requested id and I appreciate the help.
