I got this in trades with 2 people. Its a very strange little plant. The leaves are contorted and don't fully unfurl. It will be very interesting to see this grow...does anyone have a larger specimen to show?

I've heard of this one but never seen it in person. I wish I had seen a fully grown specimen, let alone a baby! I'd love to hear about the progress on this one as it grows if you feel inclined to share nodding

They are very thick. The undersides are variegated

Thumb of 2020-06-09/Gina1960/af0301
And they can have weird ridges

I have to admit I would not probably ever have bought this plant, but it was included in the trades I made with some more desirable ones so I didn't say no LOL. What would be very interesting would be to see it when the leaves are very large and see how contorted it gets

I got one like this around 7 years ago, but it was neglected and just found it back few months ago, while cleaning the garden. This one was sold as 'Witches hat' on on the tag, it is plain dark green (non variegated)

While this one is named 'Shangrila' and it is yellow variegated, the petiole and stem are also yellowish

here in my country the name 'Godzilla' also tagged to atype of syngonium with same contorted appearance, that Syngonium is never been good under my care, always seems dying on me.

I think some of the names here in the US are confused with each other.

LOVE the witches hat, Tofi. Cool plant and name. They all look fairly small. How big do they get?

Yes I want to know that too. Do they have the same size habit as other Epipremnums after they climb?

I do not know how big it will be, as Epipremnum aureum has a potential to grow huge when climb, but stay tiny without pole. Thanks to Gina for starting this thread, I guess we will see how it will turn out
The Withces hat is a name on the tag on that plant I bought in a garden centre in Japan back 7 years ago, was very cheap.
In my country, I notice it start being popular perhaps within this year, so I was tempted to care it.. it was neglected here in my garden, just get it a pole few months ago... I am lazy gardener, but the COVID-19 season gave me some time to work at my garden, since the office was closed temporarily... my office is still closed this week... so I still get bit free time...
But oh no, they said next week need to work... had so much chores in the garden, they are still in mess... (they are always in mess anyway, and probably will never be tidy)

I feel the same way! My husband asks if I'll ever stop fussing with my plants, both the indoor and outdoor plants and I say NO! And then I remind him that he promised he'd help me mulch the garden Hilarious!

I would love to see updates on your witches hat and shangrila.

I have some plain old Epipremnum aureum growing up 2 trees outdoors that will be large leaved probably by end of this summer. I got an NJoy and a Neon to start climbing well enough in the GH that they are increasing the size of their leaves. These ones I got in trade the WItch's Hat and the Shangri La (and the more I look at them the more I see that they are different even though the people who traded them to me said both were Shangri La) are rooted now, one came rooted and the others unrooted, so when they start making good new growth I will get them going upward and see what happens

I didn't realize Njoy would climb and get bigger. Mine are odd little things. One I've had for several years and it's never done a thing. It maybe puts out a leaf a year.

There are some photos online of some of these cultivars that have been put to climb and they are have the same characteristics as the run of the mill golden one
