Wow !!
This house usually has 5-6 of these in front...went by today, haven't been up there for a couple of months.....look at these !! It's been a vacation rental and now it's up for sale...I'd almost buy it just for the Echium pinininas......
Last pic is crossing the Smith River on the way home, it's such a beautiful river.....

Okay, playing with my new PC....seeing if I can post pics from it....am in the middle of deleting pics and I dunno...my smaller (ASUS) laptop had a tilting screen and I loved the deep colors of the pics seen on it. I'm finding that the upright , much larger screen with the new ACER has pictures that look washed out...however, if I look at the screen from an angle, I get a deeper color...may have to see what can be done about that....which makes me realize that I have no idea if what I see on my screen is what others see on theirs...hmmm.

Thinking we may do a small walk-through of the small botanical garden in Brookings, up the road 30 miles....but every time I look at a pic of my favorite Verbascums.....well....how could anyone not love these little pink satin, star-shaped pillow buds...? I've been worried about figuring out how to post from this PC...no sweat !..lol

Even the lowly, common Privet has such lovely blooms...a plus for me is the scent, though many don't like it...

The Lumas are starting to bloom...and are just covered in bloom...

My much loved Verbascum Governor George Aiken...several earlier bloom stalks were bent over, this is upright as it should be...you can tell the difference between it and V. blattaria by the V. blattaria standing behind it...
