So I was so happy the other day, that my calendulas were going to seed. And there were a lot!

Only to go out today and see this. Pic below.

I don't have cages, and can't get any at this tone. I'm realizing that I need some ASAP!

Any ideas as to how to protect my seed pods until they're ready for harvesting?

Maybe one of your family members or your dog is helping you out by deadheading the Calendula.

It's not my family.
I'm pretty sure it's not my dog. My chihuahua would only do her business near it. If anything. haha. She doesn't tear things up.

I'm guessing squirrels or birds.
