I used to grow AS. It was a good performer, but I got rid of it several years ago because I felt I had other pinks that were better and I needed space for some newer intros.

Just wondering if it was a pure pink or if it had any flesh/buff tones to it...and whether it faded at all through the day.

If memory serves me correctly, the above picture is an accurate representation of AS. As far as fading throughout the day, mine did fade some, but not like some others that I have grown.

I actually went to viwe the other pictures of AS on this sight and the very first one is how it looks in the morning and the one you had posted with your question is what it looked like in the afternoon. The ruffled edge may be considered flesh/buff, but it does fade some.
