My azalea bushes are ...growing more out than up. Like the outer branches have fallen over and are growing more on the ground while the inner branches are growing up ...

There are many types of azaleas. Some are minis and some are spreaders while others are larger and grow more upright. What type did you buy exactly?

Welcome to NGA, Cer. Help me out here. I do not know if this is a result of the large cup of coffee that I had an hour ago or due to dirty eye glasses but, is it me or does the azalea in the 2nd picture have leaves of different sizes??? It looks like the ones at the bottom are smaller than the ones at the top. Like Bill already asked, what is the name of this variety? Is a Satsuki or Kurume? I will try to lower my ca-caffeine up-uptake ttthe rist of ttthe da y. ;o))
