Please help. Our hornbeam hedge is gradually dying. Branches seem to be affected one at a time. The leaves are turning brown on the edges, then shrivel up.
The whole branch then dies. The affliction is gradually affecting the whole hedge bit by bit.
There is no obvious sign of infestation. No insects or stickiness anywhere.
Any ideas

You need to post a photo of the whole plant going into the ground so I can see what you are talking about.
